Jaclyn Ke Yin Kalkhurst

Jaclyn has over twenty-three years of experience with the intuitive arts and comes from a long line of healers and seers. She was born and raised in Hong Kong, where alternative healing isn’t all that alternative. But even in Hong Kong, Jaclyn’s upbringing was unique.  At home, she was influenced at an early age by her father’s studies of Chinese Medicine, Chi-Gong, and Barbara Brennan School of Healing books. Creating balls of energy between her hands and looking for people’s auras were just things she did with her Dad every day.

In secondary school, Jaclyn began Reiki and Sekhem training under the tutelage of Valerie Richards, her biology teacher who was also a Reiki and Sekhem Master. By the time Jaclyn graduated and left for college in the United States, she had attained Reiki Level 2 and Sekhem Level 2 certification.

Driven by a continued curiosity for energy and energy work, Jaclyn founded the Pagans and Wiccans (PAW) at the University of Southern California (USC), a student organization dedicated to safe, communal exploration of New Age theory. After graduating with a B.F.A. in Stage Management, Jaclyn was appointed Religious Director of PAW and, later, Director of Spirituality and the Arts at USC. Since then, she has completed her training in Usui Reiki, attaining a Master’s certification through Samadhi for Peace, under the guidance of Jona Genova. She has also attained a Master’s certification in Holy Fire/Karuna Reiki® from ICRT (International Center for Reiki Training) and learned directly from William Lee Rand. At the end of 2017, Jaclyn furthered her training and became a Master in Sekhem-Khrem through Surj Bahra in Hong Kong (one of the last direct students of Helen Belot). Sekhem is an Egyptian form of energy healing similar to Reiki. Jaclyn also completed her EPC Life Coaching Certificate with Erickson International to compliment her client’s need for talking therapy that goes naturally with energy healing. In 2020, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Jaclyn receive her Holy Fire III upgrade from ICRT and a Crystal Healing Certification with Hibiscus Moon Crystal Academy to enhance her abilities to provide long-distance healing. Now, Jaclyn is doing her M.A./Ph.D in Mythology using a Depth Psychology lens with Pacifica Graduate Institute to see how the power of myth and psychology play into the well-being of her clients and students.

Jaclyn’s healing practice is informed by the many traditions she has studied over the years. A session with Jaclyn will draw upon her wealth of interdisciplinary experiences and work to address your needs as holistically and effectively as possible. Principally, what guides Jaclyn in her practice is a true heart and a sincere desire to heal.
