Stepping Beyond ICRT: My New Reiki Materials and Mythic Vision

Dear Friends,
Sometimes the universe answers prayers in ways we don’t expect.
When the fires came earlier this year, my life was changed in ways I’m still learning to understand. In that loss and upheaval, my prayers involved healing, clarity, and a chance to manifest a life that felt more aligned with my soul’s deepest callings. Slowly but surely, the universe has been responding. My prayer for finding a new space for my practice has been answered.
One of the prayers I had carried for a long time was to be free from the structures of the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT). While I remain grateful for my training and the foundation it provided, their style and materials never quite reflected the depth and voice I wished to bring to Reiki. For years, I dreamed of creating my own materials—something that wove Reiki together with my lifelong studies in Myth and Depth Psychology.
But something miraculous happened. In the midst of so much chaos, I forgot to renew my ICRT membership. At first, it seemed like a mistake. But as I sat with it, I realized the universe had answered another prayer. This “forgetting” was not an accident. It was a gift of freedom, a doorway opening to the very thing I had been longing for.
From here forward, my classes will carry a new essence:
✨ Reiki itself remains unchanged
✨ I will be sharing writings created by me. These materials will form the foundation of a book I have long dreamed of writing.
✨ Each class will carry my own voice, weaving Reiki together with story, archetype, and symbol, drawing from my work in Myth and Depth Psychology.
✨ Certificates will come directly from me. They will not carry the ICRT label, but they remain valid. If you ever wish to align with ICRT in the future, you can present them just as I once did.
This shift feels less like an ending and more like a blossoming. Reiki continues to flow as it always has, but now it flows in a way that feels wholly authentic to me—alive with creativity, depth, and the mythic imagination that has shaped my life’s work.
I want to thank Janelle at KIN Unified Healing, whose encouragement was the spark that helped me step into this new chapter with confidence.
And I want to thank all of you, my students and community, for walking with me on this journey.
Your trust, presence, and support are the greatest blessings.
With warmth and gratitude,
Jaclyn
